Hi everyone, I'm Sierra Lavelle!

Welcome to my website dedicated to my Girl Scout Gold Award project.

As a senior at Abington Heights High School and a Girl Scout since 1st grade, Girl Scouts has been a huge part of my life. It's connected me with amazing people who've helped me grow into the person I am today.

For my Gold Award project, I wanted to give back to the community that's supported me for so long. That's why I'm thrilled to be partnering with EnginProgram.org to promote English proficiency among high school and college students impacted by the conflict in Ukraine. Fluency in English opens doors to a wider range of educational, professional, and social opportunities.

Throughout my project, I will conduct one-on-one video sessions with students in Ukraine. These sessions will focus on enhancing their English skills and building their confidence in speaking the language. My goal is to provide a sense of comfort and hope by demonstrating that others care about their success. Additionally, I will promote this program through social media posts and various presentations.
